New Defense Package to Israel Part of Child’s “Make a Wish” Request
A new 5 billion dollar defense package was passed Wednesday morning by congress, in an almost unanimous vote. The package, which will help Israeli soldiers to further defend against schools, hospitals, playgrounds, and other assets of Hamas, came as a request from an unnamed 12 year old boy who is battling leukemia.
“We are no stranger to keeping promises” said Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a statement to the press.
“The American people made this little boy’s wish come true.”
Despite public skepticism about the origins of this wish, the Trump Administration stands firm on its decision.
“We know Israel is a complex subject right now, and we were seriously considering pausing aid.” Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed in a recent press conference.
“But when a child has been battling cancer for half of his life… we just couldn’t say no.”
Sources close to the Trump Administration say similar Make a Wish requests have been appearing all over the country, including a recent wish to let President Trump run again in 2028. Democratic strategists have sounded the alarm on a potential “Wish Loophole,” but GOP speaker of the house Mike Johnson said in a recent interview:
“When children, dying children are using their final wish to defeat the woke agenda, you know there’s a problem with the direction this country was going.”
